18 Months of Travel Recap and Trailer Park Looney Toons

A couple of days ago, I was sitting in the lodge at the RV park in Bend where we have our home on wheels parked. For some reason the wifi signal doesn't seem to reach our camping spot, so if I want to surf the ol' inter-web or catch up on emails, I have to hang out with the other RV-ers in the lodge. I don't generally mind hanging out in the lodge, mainly because it has big comfy chairs to lounge in, free coffee and tea (I'm a cheapskate), and there is about 12,000 times more space than in our home on wheels. Also, more often than not, there are nice people that are doing the same thing as me (mooching free coffee and surfing the web). I say that there is more often than not nice people hanging around the lodge, because that is mostly the case. Most RV-er's are a happy-go-lucky and friendly bunch. As most of you know, we've had some family medical stuff going on for about 6 or 7 months that has kept us on on our toes. Brenda's brother has needed a liver transplant, and for the last 6 or 7 months, we have anxiously waited for this to happen. The most common question I get these days by far is what's happening with Brenda's brother? Any news? When is this going to happen? Etc... My email's, texts, and phone calls generally all start the same way. Since we are all good friends here, I'm going to share a little bit of news. Last night, Brenda's brother got his new liver. For us, this is the best news we've had in years. It's really exciting. The second most common topic of discussion that I've been having is generally some sort of question about when Brenda and I will be reunited.
